Hi and thanks for reading more about me!

My name is Dr. Vass and I help my patients fix root causes rather than just manage symptoms.

If you’re here, it’s probably because you’re highly successful—both in business and in life—but you know you could be optimizing your health even more.

Maybe you sense your doctor isn’t truly partnering with you to “quarterback” your overall health, or perhaps you’ve been told you’re “fine” and should just check back next year.

Deep down, you know there’s more you can do to prevent disease, stay strong, and live an active, fulfilling life for decades to come.

Welcome — let’s make the vision of a healthy, vibrant, and active life a reality for you.

My Story

My journey began when I graduated from Trinity College, where I earned a bachelor’s degree with honors in Neuroscience.

Eager to make a difference, I joined the Peace Corps and served in the Solomon Islands, teaching secondary school and collaborating with the World Health Organization on malaria and filariasis control projects.

That experience shaped my perspective and led me to pursue medicine at Cornell University Medical College in New York City.

After medical school, I completed my postgraduate training in General Surgery and Emergency Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and Denver Health Medical Center. Today, I’m proud to be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine and a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.

After more than a decade in the traditional healthcare system, I noticed something troubling—it often focused on “sick care” rather than helping people stay well.

This realization hit me hard, and I knew there was a better way. Over a decade ago I decided to shift my focus to proactive health, working directly with people to optimize their wellness, enhance longevity, and prioritize preventative care. This is exactly what my team and I do at Longevity Health.

My mission is simple: I want to help you live your healthiest, most vibrant life.

Because of my root-cause-focused approach—identifying underlying issues and taking targeted actions to resolve them—I’ve seen countless patients overcome a wide range of health problems.

Some of the challenges I help people address include (but aren’t limited to):

  • Body composition challenges, including stubborn weight gain, fat loss resistance, and difficulty building muscle
  • Low energy, chronic fatigue, and poor physical endurance
  • Hormonal imbalances, including low libido, irregular cycles, or menopausal symptoms
  • Brain fog, memory issues, and cognitive decline
  • Digestive problems, food sensitivities, and gut-related inflammation
  • Chronic skin issues like acne, eczema, or psoriasis
  • Lingering symptoms from Long COVID and other post-viral conditions
  • Autoimmune conditions and systemic inflammation
  • Poor sleep quality, burnout, and stress-related fatigue
  • Elevated cardiovascular risk, including high cholesterol, blood pressure, and insulin resistance

No matter where you’re starting from, I’m here to guide you toward a more active, fulfilling life—one rooted in disease prevention, sustainable health gains, and genuine longevity.

I’m originally from Westchester, New York, and I’ve had a lifelong passion for grappling. Wrestling has been a big part of my story—I was a High School State Champion and captained both my high school and college teams. I still compete today, and recently, I’ve won Masters Championships at the US National and World levels in International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation competitions. It’s a thrill that keeps me grounded and energized.

When I’m not with my family or on the mat, you’ll likely find me climbing rock and ice or whitewater kayaking—adventures that fuel my love for the outdoors and remind me how vital an active life is to overall health.
